AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The preliminary election outcomes for Augusta Commission Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 have been tallied, with all 12 precincts having reported their results.
In District 2, incumbent Stacy Pulliam secured 51.56% of the votes, totaling 1,665, surpassing Corey Johnson, who garnered 48.44% with 1,564 votes.
District 4 saw incumbent Lonnie Wimberly achieve 62.67% with 3,250 votes, while Alvin D. Mason trailed with 37.33%, amounting to 1,936 votes.
For District 6, Tamika Bean led with 59.34%, receiving 2,645 votes, defeating incumbent Tony Lewis, who collected 40.66% of the votes, totaling 1,812.
In District 8, a run-off is anticipated between Evett Williams, who obtained 48.36% with 2,453 votes, and Michael Cioffi, who earned 37.91% with 1,923 votes. Roger Garvin, meanwhile, received 13.72%, equating to 896 votes. The run-off is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th.
In District 10, incumbent Wayne Guilfoyle received 55.13% (11163 votes) of the votes and Ben Hasan received 44.87% (9085 votes) of the votes.
