Asbury Memorial Theatre presents 'The Story of My Life'

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — News 3’s Andrew Davis talks with actors Ray Ellis and Mark Rand about their upcoming production of ‘The Story of My Life.’

‘The Story of My Life’ is a heartwarming musical presented by Asbury Memorial Theatre on March 28 and 29 at 7:00 p.m. and March 30 at 3:00 p.m. at the Asbury Memorial Church, located at 1008 East Henry Street in Savannah. The performance on March 29 features a silent auction plus an intermission for additional bidding time. 100% of ticket sales and silent auction proceeds directly benefit the Hospice Savannah Story Keeper’s Program and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Audiences will explore the power of friendship and the influence of shared memories as local actors tell the story of two childhood best friends, Thomas Weaver, a successful but emotionally distant writer, and Alvin Kelby, a quirky and loyal small-town bookseller.
