URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — In Tuesday’s primary, voters in Champaign County expressed a preference for reducing staff and services to address the shortfall in the general fund, according to unofficial results from three advisory questions on the ballot.

The ballot presented voters with three choices: increasing property taxes, increasing sales taxes, or deciding between a tax increase and personnel cuts.
