CHAMAPIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — After several months of collecting, the “Tree of Hope” campaign is almost at its end.

The Developmental Services Center (DSC) of Champaign runs the non-profit and is working to reach their goal of $300,000. Currently, they are at $256,000. The money goes toward their mission of supporting adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“This year, we had a stretch goal of $300,000, and we just would like to get the word out to the community that the Tree of Hope is still going on through the end of January,” said Jodie Harmon, VP of Development & Communication. “And if you haven’t made a donation, we would love to welcome you into our family here at DSC.”

The campaign runs until Jan. 31. To donate, visit www.dsc-illinois.org.
