COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. () – On Wednesday, the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon to express gratitude toward the military community.
The event was a chance for area officials and service members to come together. They also took the opportunity to honor ADP with the coveted Patriot Award.
“We’re here every year, I mean regardless of whether it’s ADP or another organization,” said Dave Brendza, division vice president of the ADP Augusta Office. “We would be proud for them as we are ourselves – to really acknowledge the support of our veteran population. So this is just another affirmation of community support and we’re happy to be a part of that.”
Dr. Tom Clark, president and CEO of the Alliance for Fort Gordon, served as the event’s keynote speaker.
