CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Authorities in Champaign County are keeping a close watch on six residents who recently returned from travels in Central and East Africa, monitoring them for any potential symptoms of Ebola.
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) has assured the public that these individuals are considered low-risk. The monitoring process is a standard precautionary measure and does not suggest any immediate threat to public health.
