The city of Danville, Illinois played a significant role in WCIA’s 13th annual Operation Honor Guard Day of Giving, which took place on Wednesday. This charitable event spanned nine locations across Central Illinois, with one of the key sites being Hall of Fame Plaques and Signs in Danville.
“Danville always rises to the occasion,” remarked Jeff Knapp, Director of the Honor Guard at Post 210.
Dedicated members of Danville’s American Legion Post 210 spent 11 hours outside, committed to raising funds for honor guards throughout Central Illinois. As the day unfolded, community members came out in full support.
