Savannah Sips: Lone Wolf Lounge

SAVANNAH, Ga. () – Drinks, decor and the distinct feeling some of this stuff used to be in your grandparents’ basement are just three reasons Lone Wolf Lounge is a must-visit in Savannah.

Owners Tom Worley and Andrew Ripley opened Lone Wolf Lounge in 2018. Both men had worked as bartenders at several locations throughout Savannah before deciding to team up and open their own location.

Ripley said the goal of Lone Wolf Lounge was always to be a neighborhood location that locals feel they can frequent.

“I think we try to set a nice environment here. There is a lot of stuff to look at with a nice nostalgic vibe of a neighborhood bar. Hospitality has always been important to us and I think through COVID, we did everything we could to make it an inviting place,” said both owners when asked what they feel the draw of Lone Wolf Lounge is.

Worley says it is great neighbors like Over Yonder, Moodright and Sixby that help to make the locations in the neighborhood. It allows you to travel between the places and get a little bit of everything so close together.

Tip from : Usually, this portion is a drink recommendation. This time, though, I am saying you have to go for the atmosphere. The inside of Lone Wolf Lounge is an experience all on its own… and the bartenders will make you a drink to match.
