Drugged Up Son Rips Off Mom – Runs to Kentucky
Officers from Bellfonte Kentucky contacted Portsmouth Police and asked them to check on a possible theft victim.
Kentucky police said they had a run-in with a man who had an open warrant earlier in the evening, the guy took off, but left behind a backpack containing gold watches, some diamonds, and earrings along with a bank statement and mail belonging to a Portsmouth woman.

Portsmouth Police spoke with the woman just before 11 pm, and she said the suspect was her son. She’d made him leave her apartment due to drug use, and she suspected he stole her items. However, she did not want to file charges.
PPD gave her information to Kentucky officers so they could return her property.
