BURKE COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities have apprehended four suspects following a shooting incident that occurred in Girard, Georgia, this past Sunday.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Corn Road after receiving notice of gunfire early Sunday morning, precisely at 12:53 A.M. on May 17th.
Upon surveying the scene, investigators discovered around 22 spent cartridge casings and took statements from eyewitnesses present at the site.
Investigators managed to secure arrest warrants for Travion Clark, who was detained the subsequent day. The investigation then expanded as law enforcement revisited the area to gather more video evidence, conduct further interviews, and maintain surveillance.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Clark, along with three other individuals, now faces charges related to the incident.

Investigators state that they were able to locate and collect the firearm(s) believed to have been used in the act, one of which was modified.
According to authorities, more charges could be forthcoming.
