AUGUSTA, Ga. ()- The Homeless Task Force is excited to launch this year’s Point-in-Time (PIT) Count.

They are seeking volunteers to assist in surveying the homeless population in Augusta.

Your participation is crucial in gathering essential data that secures federal and local funding.

By volunteering, you amplify the voices of those without shelter.

Together, we can build a more resilient community.

If you volunteer, you will be a part of team with the Augusta-Richmond County Homeless Task Force.

You don’t need any experience, just a compassionate heart.

“We need people and we want new people because new people bring new ideas. It will change your life because you’ll meet people that you never expected to have conversations with. And I think it’s really beautiful to be able to look someone in the eye and for them to see that people care,” said Nomi Stanton, Executive Director at GAP Ministries.

The deadline is January 16th. The event dates and times are posted below.
