SMYTH COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — A man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly driving through a home in Smyth County and fleeing the scene.
According to a news release from Virginia State Police (VSP), Raul C. Lemus, 30, of Adwolf, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, felony hit and run and misdemeanor hit and run.
Just after 9 p.m., troopers responded to a crash in the 400 block of Adwolfe Road.
VSP stated a 1989 Dodge Pickup ran off the right side of the road and hit a house. Lemus then reportedly removed his clothing and ran from the scene on foot.
