SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Southern Living magazine has released The South’s Best Cities 2024 list naming Savannah as one of the top cities in the southern United States.
Southern Living has once again listed Savannah as the second-best city in the South. The Hostess City beat out 23 top contenders for the No. 2 seat only losing to its sister city, Charleston, SC.
From pralines to saltwater taffy, Savannah’s nostalgic riverfront and historic squares draw in visitors worldwide. Southern Living goes on to describe the Hostess City as “Pinterest-perfect.”
The top five of the South’s Best Cities 2024 are listed as:
- Charleston, South Carolina
- Savannah, Georgia
- Nashville, Tennessee
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Asheville, North Carolina.
