Starbucks has unveiled a new incentive program that could see its baristas earning up to $1,200 annually in bonuses, as announced on Thursday.
Under this initiative, the renowned coffee chain will provide up to $300 each quarter to baristas and shift supervisors across its U.S. locations. These bonuses will be awarded to teams that meet specific targets related to sales, operations, and customer service, according to a company memo circulated among employees.
While the exact benchmarks for these bonuses have not been disclosed, Starbucks has confirmed that the program will kick off in July, with the first bonus disbursements expected in the fall.
