KISSIMMEE, Fla – A tragic incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when a Kissimmee resident lost his life following an accident involving a four-wheel electric scooter. The unfortunate event unfolded on Boggy Creek Road, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident took place in Osceola County, near the junction of Boggy Creek Road and Fells Cove Boulevard. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 56-year-old man from Kissimmee was riding eastbound on Boggy Creek Road. He was navigating an inactive construction lane on his all-terrain, four-wheel electric scooter when he unexpectedly lost control of the vehicle. The exact cause of this loss of control remains unknown at this time.
After the rider fell from the scooter, emergency services promptly transported him to UCF Lake Nona Hospital. Despite these efforts, he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
Currently, the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation as authorities seek to uncover the factors contributing to this tragic event.
