URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — The University of Illinois is reaching out to members of the farming community to gain insights into how weather predictions assist them in managing their agricultural operations.
The College of ACES has launched a survey to explore the ways in which farmers utilize weather forecast data. The feedback gathered will shape the development of future weather-related tools, communications, and resources that cater specifically to agricultural needs.
Individuals aged 18 and above who are involved in the agricultural sector within Illinois, including producers, crop advisers, and agricultural retailers, are invited to participate in this survey. The process is completely voluntary and ensures anonymity for respondents.
The survey will remain accessible until September 5 and can be completed by clicking here.
