Later this month, Champaign County will host a thrilling Strongman showdown, the Midwest Muscle event. This competition, sanctioned by United States Strongman (USS), features a series of riveting challenges that test the strength and endurance of participating athletes.
Midwest Muscle has partnered with local agencies in Mahomet, Champaign and Urbana. They will be collecting funds and donating to corresponding benevolent funds — with the goal of them going into emergency funds for first responders and local veterans.
The USS Midwest Muscle Strongman Competition & Hero will take place on Saturday, July 25 and start at 9 a.m. It’s happening in downtown Mahomet on Main Street between Elm and Jefferson Streets.
