RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a man who has managed to escape custody.
The individual in question is 33-year-old Justin Craft, Jr., as identified by officials.
Craft is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities report that several units are conducting searches in the vicinity of the 1100 block of Laney Walker Boulevard.
Craft made his escape from Piedmont Hospital on Tuesday evening around 8 PM, where he had been held on charges pending in Richmond County, according to officials.
Authorities say Craft was last seen running shirtless with blue jean pants in the area of Tenth Street.
Authorities are asking residents in the area to remain alert and report any suspicious activity immediately.
