A Piney Flats resident is in legal hot water following a head-on collision in Washington County, Tennessee. According to a report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the incident involved multiple charges against the individual.
The sheriff’s office detailed that deputies were called to the scene of the crash, which involved injuries, on Tuesday evening around 5:30. The accident took place on South Pickens Bridge Road, in the vicinity of the 700 block.
The driver involved, identified as 29-year-old Cody Clark, reportedly made a left turn from Lake Meadow Drive onto South Pickens Bridge Road. It was during this maneuver that Clark’s vehicle crossed over the center line, leading to a head-on collision with another car, as per the sheriff’s office statement.
Further investigation revealed that a witness observed Clark failing to stop at the Lake Meadow Drive stop sign before executing the left turn that led to the crash.
