The “Deadpool 3” trailer teases several villains for our heroes to overcome, including Cassandra Nova and Alioth. The former is Professor Xavier’s sister, and her reported inclusion in the movie could signal the arrival of the X-Men. However, the presence of Alioth in a significant villain role implies that the Void will host Deadpool and Wolverine’s next adventure to some degree.
Alioth is the terrifying cloud-like creature that guards the Void on “Loki.” The entity is tasked with vaporizing Variants that get pruned, so it probably won’t give Deadpool the warmest greeting if the Merc with a Mouth gets sent to the wasteland at the end of time.
Of course, “Deadpool and Wolverine” will probably be a grand-scale adventure that ventures beyond the Void, as many characters are reportedly set to join the titular heroes. “Deadpool 3” has been subject to some wild cameo rumors, some of which might be true. As such, fans should go into this movie expecting the unexpected.
