Since “Killing Eve” ended on its own terms, fans have wondered if the series will ever make a comeback. Sadly, there are no plans to revive the cat-and-mouse-chase thriller anytime soon, but who knows what the future holds? Getting a second lease on life on Netflix certainly can’t hurt the chances of Eve Polastra having more adventures down the line, but viewers shouldn’t get their hopes up.

The good news, however, is that a “Killing Eve” prequel series is in development. No concrete details have been shared about when fans can expect to see the spin-off yet, but the story will reportedly follow Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw in “Killing Eve”) during the early years of her career. Hopefully, the success of “Killing Eve” on Netflix will speed up the process to expand the franchise and bring more action, romance, and mayhem to our screens.
