Kennedy family scion Conor Kennedy has been seen relaxing with friends in Rio de Janeiro ahead of his lavish three-day Brazilian wedding celebration, which is set to feature the Christ the Redeemer statue as a backdrop, the Daily Mail can reveal.
The 32-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was photographed enjoying the sunshine at the five-star Hotel Fasano on Friday, just before celebrating his marriage to Brazilian pop star Giulia Be, according to exclusive photos.
Wearing white linen trousers and a black T-shirt, the lawyer spent much of the day on the hotel rooftop with friends and family members.
He was later seen outside the lobby, carrying a takeaway coffee and holding his phone while waiting to leave in a taxi.
The sighting came as Kennedy and his 27-year-old bride, whose real name is Giulia Bourguignon Marinho, prepared to host their extravagant wedding festivities in her native Brazil.
It was not immediately known whether the hotel, which overlooks Ipanema Beach and has suites costing up to $2,500 per night, was serving as a base for the celebrations.
Kennedy and Be have been engaged since 2024 and previously held a small civil ceremony in Los Angeles in March.
Be, a Latin Grammy nominee, revealed in a Brazilian magazine interview earlier this year that the couple’s main celebration would take place in her beloved Rio de Janeiro in October.

The wedding festivities are expected to include a welcome party, a blessing for both families at the foot of the Christ the Redeemer statue, a religious ceremony at a local church and a reception, according to a previous report by Gshow magazine.
‘One of the first things I said [to Conor] was: “My love, I love you, but I’m not getting married in Massachusetts,”‘ the singer told the outlet, referring to the Kennedy family’s home state and its well-known compound on Cape Cod.
‘I think Brazil is one of the best places to get married. We know how to do it, we give ourselves body and soul, and the party doesn’t end at 10 pm. That’s something very important that I wanted to show people.’
It remained unclear how many of Kennedy’s high-profile relatives would travel to Brazil for the weekend wedding.
Be said, however, that Kennedy’s family alone—including his father and actress stepmother Cheryl Hines—accounted for an astonishing 150 people on the guest list.
‘I’m from the most beautiful city in the world, and this was my only chance to really bring his whole family and friends to Brazil. I needed to show them the best of Brazil, so I want to throw an incredible party,’ Be said.
‘Imagine you’ve never seen Christ the Redeemer, and you’re going to see it for the first time at a wedding. It’s truly very special.’
The Los Angeles-based couple also said they had been working to bring their two different cultures together for the wedding.

‘We wanted to adapt to things they’re used to doing at their weddings. So, speeches, for example, are something that’s now a bit more common at Brazilian weddings, but it wasn’t always like that. In the US, speeches are the most important thing,’ Be said.
‘Yes, especially in my family,’ Kennedy chimed in.
The marriage celebration comes just weeks after he was put on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most wanted list for traveling to Ukraine to fight with the International Legion in 2022.
It is unclear if Brazil has an extradition agreement with Russia.
Kennedy, who is the grandson of Sen. Robert F Kennedy and the great-nephew of President John F Kennedy, started dating his bride the yearv he went to Ukraine.
He proposed before Be, who has several Portuguese chart-toppers, opted to relocate from Brazil to the US.
Sharing news of the proposal on Instagram, the popstar, who boasts 2.5 million followers, posted a video of the couple dancing in a candlelit room as she sobbed and exclaimed: ‘This is the best day ever!’

Meanwhile, Kennedy’s wedding spectacle comes just months after his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift staged an extravaganza of her own when she tied the knot with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce in New York City.
Conor and Taylor had a brief romance back in 2012 during which she was spotted frequently at the Kennedy family’s famed Cape Cod home.
Before proposing to Be, Kennedy also had prior dalliances with model Michaela Vybohova and was spotted with Ava Dash, daughter of Damon Dash, in 2021.
