The Department of Homeland Security announced on Thursday that Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian activist and former graduate student from Columbia University, will be relocating to Algeria. Allegations from the Trump administration label Khalil as pro-Hamas, a claim that has fueled the decision to remove him from the country. This development follows a recent ruling by an appellate court, which has paved the way for his deportation.

Born in Syria, Khalil will now find himself in North Africa, leaving behind his life in the United States. His involvement in activism was notably prominent at Columbia University, where he participated in key protests that mirrored a national wave of unrest across many college campuses. These demonstrations were in response to the violent Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, an event that significantly heightened tensions worldwide.

New: Mahmoud Khalil’s Latest Interview Is So Bad, He Should Be Deported Immediately

Mahmoud was a key Columbia University activist and “student negotiator” in the violent protests that took over Columbia and swept over many of our nation’s institutions of higher education following the savage Hamas Oct. 7, 2023, attack against Israel.

Instead of calling out the barbaric assault which led to thousands dead, hundreds of hostages detained and tortured, and a brutal war with Israel, a disturbing number of America’s young people took the side of Hamas, citing “the plight of the Palestinian people.”

Remember, the Palestinian electorate voted to put Hamas in power in 2006.

But Mahmoud will not be enjoying the freedoms of the United States any longer, the DHS said:

I hope he enjoys EVERY LAST MOMENT of his BRAND NEW LIFE!

At a rally in June, Khalil denied that he supported the terrorists. A good rule of thumb: Never, ever, trust a person who constantly refers to himself in the third person:

“Who is Mahmoud Khalil? … Mahmoud Khalil is a human rights defender. Mahmoud Khalil is a freedom fighter. Mahmoud Khalil is a refugee. Mahmoud Khalil is a father and husband, and above all, Mahmoud Khalil is Palestinian,” he said.

He’ll have to make a new place to call home, according to the department:

“It looks like he’ll go to Algeria. That’s what the thought is right now,” Tricia McLaughlin, DHS assistant secretary for public affairs, told “Katie Pavlich Tonight” when asked about Khalil.

“It’s a reminder for those who are in this country on a visa or on a green card. You are a guest in this country — act like it,” she added. “It is a privilege, not a right, to be in this country to live or to study.”

The protests at UCLA, Columbia, Harvard University, the University of Michigan, and so many others following the despicable Hamas attack remain a stain on our country — and unfortunately, on many of our brainwashed young people. Innocent Israelis were raped, burned alive, and summarily executed, and yet the response from all too many was, “Oh, but they might have deserved it.”

Nobody deserves what happened to them at the hands of those savage terrorists.

Mahmoud Khalil proved over and over again that he is not a net plus to our country, and his presence won’t be missed. Perhaps he’ll find a nice life in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
