Khloé Kardashian Health Update: Khloé Kardashian Skin Cancer And Surgery Explained

Khloé Kardashian’s removal of a facial tumor has left her “healing beautifully.”

The 38-year-old, who first disclosed her skin cancer scare in October 2022, gave fans an update on her health on Sunday as she answered a query from one of her 295 million followers in the comments section of her most recent Instagram post.

In the post, which also featured a photo of Kardashian pouting in her home gym while donning a white cami top and the text “Happy Sunday,” a fan questioned her about a skin-colored bandage that was visible on her jawline.

“a bandage 🩹,” Kardashian replied. “I had a tumor removed from my face but I’m totally ok. Thank you for asking ❤️.”

When another follower also asked about the bandage, the mother-of-two added that the bandaid was actually “a scar strip.”

“I had a tumor removed from my face a few months ago so I wear this for healing and the prevention of my scar getting worse,” she added. “All is great and healing wonderfully.”

The social media picture also got a like from Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares daughter True Thompson, 4, and a 6-month-old son whose name they have not yet revealed. Malika Haqq, Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn, and her BFF Malika Haqq both commented on the post.

In a sequence of posts on her Instagram Story from October of last year, the Kardashians star first revealed the news of her tumor in close-up pictures of her skin.

Some of you may be asking why I’ve been sporting a bandage on my face for the past few weeks after reading the various stories that have been floating around, she wrote.

“After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realizing it was not budging.”

The founder of Good American further stated that she underwent two separate biopsies, and both of the physicians felt the bump was “incredibly uncommon” for a person her age.

A few days later, she was informed that she required urgent surgery to remove a tumor from her face. I contacted Beverly Hills’ best surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, who is a close family friend and who I knew would take excellent care of my face.

“I’m happy to report that Dr. Fischer was able to obtain all the necessary information; all of my margins seem to be clean, and now we can move on to the healing process.

So, here we are… you’ll continue to see my bandages and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar (and an indentation in my cheek from the tumor being removed) but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous I’m making these face bandages look.”
