Megyn Kelly Claims Fauci Concealed Personal Adverse Reaction to COVID Vaccine

Megyn Kelly has put forth some serious allegations against Dr. Anthony Fauci, claiming he concealed his personal adverse reaction to a COVID-19 vaccine, despite his vigorous public endorsement of the shots throughout the pandemic. On Wednesday afternoon, Kelly aired a provocative episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, right after Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, faced intense questioning on Capitol Hill. During the show, Kelly played a segment from Fox News featuring Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s discussion with Laura Ingraham. He mentioned Fauci’s admission, found in his recently leaked diary, of suffering a pulmonary infarction post-Moderna vaccine. This private diary, spanning over 1,000 pages between 2019 and 2022, was unveiled by Republican US Senator Dr. Rand Paul, igniting swift controversies. Discussing this revelation with her guests Rich Lowry and Charles C.W. Cooke from the conservative magazine National Review, Kelly revealed, “Fauci reportedly discovered he had a pulmonary infarction in June 2021, post the double Moderna doses.”

A pulmonary infarction is a severe health condition where lung tissue dies due to a loss of blood supply, often from a vessel blockage. “There’s a strong chance Fauci knew he had this condition after his vaccine dose, yet still dismissed concerns about the vaccine’s safety,” Kelly stated, referencing Fauci’s staunch advocacy for COVID vaccine safety in June 2021’s Washington DC proceedings.

Kelly continued to unravel why countless Americans harbor resentment towards Fauci. Expressing her own doubts about receiving the Pfizer COVID vaccine, Kelly said, “People are not just traumatized; they’re angry. They’re furious seeing Fauci lauded by celebrities like Julia Roberts, Chris Cuomo, and others from MSNBC. They’re angry at those who supported someone who, they believe, caused harm.” Fauci’s earlier testimony at Capitol Hill made waves when he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights over a hundred times, dodging questions about his pandemic management.

The hearing, focused on the origins of the virus, saw Republican Bernie Moreno criticize Fauci as a “total disgrace.” Moreno shared his motivation for entering politics six years ago after witnessing a mother get arrested at a family football game, supposedly for violating the guidelines shaped by Fauci’s advisories. Disdainfully, Moreno remarked, “Who do you think you were for imposing such policies?”

Moreno’s impassioned critique didn’t end there. “It’s a disgrace to the nation,” he asserted, addressing his Democrat peers, “I hope every voter saw which one of you idolized a man more fixated on fame than on fulfilling his duties.” Earlier, Moreno surveyed the room at the hearing, asking attendees who felt adversely affected by their doubts about COVID measures to stand. A significant majority of the audience, situated behind Fauci, rose in acknowledgment. The leaked diaries divulged Fauci’s delight in mingling with celebrities during the tumultuous early days of the pandemic.

Fauci, who became former President Joe Biden’s chief medical advisor, appeared to bask in the fame he received during the 2020 lockdowns, his diary entries detailed. In one entry, he cited a front-page Washington Post article and other magazine profiles about him. ‘Press still hot and heavy about me. Multiple stories per day directly or indirectly involving me,’ he said in April 2020, Forbes reported. During the hearing, Fauci blasted the Republican Party for their ‘unhinged obsession’ with him.

In his opening statement, Fauci said: ‘Given Senator Paul’s obvious obsession with calling for my prosecution, his repeated slanderous comments about me, and recently his publicly releasing my unredacted personal diary aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me. ‘The only conclusion I can reach is that the sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something, anything that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up in his words ‘behind bars,’ Fauci continued. ‘Any reasonable person who has followed his unhinged obsession with me would readily come to the same conclusion,’ he added.

He invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incrimination in the opening round. He then continued to do so 111 separate times when interrogated by lawmakers on the committee. ‘On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution,’ Fauci told Senator Paul numerous times in the opening round of questions. His attorney, David Schertler, was physically removed by security in an explosive moment when he attempted to speak on behalf of Fauci. ‘I didn’t invite you here to testify,’ exclaimed Paul before setting the guards on him to drag him out.
