On Wednesday’s episode of “Money, Power, Politics” on MS NOW, host Stephanie Ruhle shared her emotional reaction to the Senate hearing involving Dr. Anthony Fauci, the prominent health adviser.
Network journalist Vaughn Hillyard weighed in, saying, “We can’t change the history everyone experienced. For instance, my grandmother, who lived in a nursing home, survived the initial wave but sadly succumbed to COVID later. It’s a harsh truth that over a million lives were lost. Attempting to rewrite history is futile. Some Republicans questioning Dr. Fauci display a level of arrogance, seemingly ignoring the lived experiences of loss within their own families and communities.”
Turning to another guest, Ruhle added, “Dr. Gupta, seeing you this morning brings back memories. It’s heartbreaking to revisit these discussions. I can’t believe we’re re-examining this issue in such a manner. Your presence means a lot, as it did throughout the pandemic. Thank you for being with us through those challenging times.”
