My Tesla was taken on 110mph joyride by rogue airport parking firm while blasting Beyonce

A rogue airport parking firm took a customer’s Tesla on a 109mph joyride – while blasting Beyonce at full volume.

Jemma Whitfield, 39, and husband Scott, 41, were on holiday in Rome for her birthday when the car’s app on their phone showed them it was unlocked.

It revealed that a worker drove for a stunning 100 miles while blasting the Crazy in Love singer.

And they soon found out the car – worth £55,000 – was being stored in a busy lay-by eight miles from where they thought it was in Bristol Airport.

‘At his most Formula 1 moment he was clocked doing 109mph. He ran it ragged,’ Jemma, from Truro, Cornwall, told the Sun.

‘We even know through the app that he was blasting out Beyonce on the radio.

‘It’s unbelievable — not only as the car belongs to someone else and should be treated with respect but also because it’s highly dangerous.’

The wild jouney saw the driver consistently doing 100mph despite being on roads with a 50mph limit.

And to add insult to injury, they didn’t even charge the car after using it – forcing Jemma and Scott to stop to refuel on their way home.

Looking4Parking – a ‘meet and greet’ service who were recommended by Ryanair – say they have suspended the service pending a probe. They are also discussing compensation with the provider, the Sun reported.

Ryanair said: ‘It is unacceptable that Car Park Bristol did not provide the promised services booked by this passenger, and we are working with this meet and greet service provider to ensure that this does not recur.’ 

A spokesman for Looking4Parking added: ‘Looking4Parking is an independent business entirely unconnected with Bristol Airport and we have no control over the services provided by them.

‘For peace of mind, we recommend that passengers use one of Bristol Airport’s on-site car parking options. All our car parks are located on site, are equipped with CCTV, automatic number plate recognition, and are served by a courtesy bus to and from the terminal operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

‘Passengers can guarantee their vehicle will be parked on site in an official Bristol Airport car park by booking via our website.’
