North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, was seen enjoying Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights on Thursday evening.

The 13-year-old embraced the spooky season with black lipstick and special-effects makeup around one eye, creating the appearance of a gruesome bloody injury. Kardashian has previously said she sometimes has to “hold back” her daughter’s ambitions for fame.

For the outing, North wore a black jacket with a ruffled skirt, socks and sneakers.

She also showed off her trademark turquoise hair, which fell to her waist and was worn straight with a center part.

North explored the Halloween attraction alongside several friends and members of her security team.

The teenager had also visited the Los Angeles theme park in late September.

Halloween Horror Nights is Universal Studios’ annual ticketed celebration of Halloween, staged at its theme parks.

The event features elaborate haunted mazes, where performers attempt to scare visitors through themes inspired by popular movies, television shows, video games and music figures.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, 45-year-old Kardashian said she and her former husband, 49-year-old West, have developed a stronger co-parenting relationship since their divorce.

The former couple also share Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and seven-year-old Psalm.

“I do worry about it. Each kid does what they’re comfortable with,” Kardashian said while discussing how her children participate in the family reality series The Kardashians.

“My little ones come around when I’m filming, but they don’t really do storylines. North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back,” the mother of four explained.

Kardashian continued: “All she wants to do is forward-facing projects. So we’re really trying to savor those moments and not take on everything that comes her way. We want to make sure we manage it properly.”

She added: “With her, since it’s more music-related, that is something her dad and I have better communication about. We make sure we’re aligned and that she’s involved in projects we both approve.”

Kardashian recently revealed that she sometimes has to rein in North’s eagerness to pursue fame

North released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, earlier this year and has since made several high-profile appearances, further raising her profile in the public eye.

The teen is routinely criticized online for her bold self-expression.

She initially debuted what appeared to be dermal piercings on her fingers in November 2025.

At the time, fans swarmed social media to call out the ‘high-risk’ body art, prompting the youngster to simply reply, ‘It’s okay,’ with a heart-shaped hands emoji.

And in December last year, she addressed critics of her finger piercing in a TikTok video.

She filmed a short video with a soundbite saying: ‘Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.’

Text over the reel noted: ‘This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.’

Similarly, in October 2025, she replied to naysayers condemning her temporary face tattoos and blue eye contacts, which she sported with friends days before Halloween.

‘This is such a non-issue,’ she wrote on TikTok.
