UKRAINIAN orphan Natalia Grace has been forced to deny a wild accusation that she had sex with her former adoptive father Michael Barnett in the new documentary series.
The explosive finale of season two of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks features a shocking allegation viewers did not see coming.
In 2010, Natalia was taken in by Michael and Kristine Barnett, who accused her of being a “psychotic adult” posing as a child who threatened to harm the family.
They went to great lengths to try and stand up their claim, and even successfully petitioned a judge to have her re-aged to 22.
In the new series, DNA tests and dental records allegedly confirmed that she was a child when she was abandoned and left to fend for herself.
But after slamming her former family, viewers were in for another surprise, a stunning accusation that Michael was sexually involved with Natalia when she was living with them.
A producer is heard saying in the final episode: “There’s something, Michael, that’s a serious accusation about you. I think it’s our obligation to show you this,” as they hand him an open laptop.
Michael fires back: “I’m not going to listen to it, but I’ll press play. I’ll hold it up and show it to you,” as a video interview begins.
SEX CLAIM
He adds: “It truly doesn’t affect me what Kristine tells random people in the public about me.”
A man called Freddie Gill, an entertainer and friend of Kristine’s, is heard in the video saying she had sent him a series of messages about the scandal.
“Kristine said that basically, Natalia started f**king her husband. She had either caught Natalia having sex with her husband or became aware of it. And also Natalia apparently tried to f**k one of the neighbors.”
The camera then pans to Natalia watching the same video interview as she shouts: “What?!” and stares open-mouthed at the screen.
Freddie adds: “I specifically remember Kristine telling me how heartbroken she was with the situation with Natalia, she was sleeping with her husband.”
Natalia, looking furious, tells producers: “No! Are you crazy? That is a total lie.”
Michael then also addresses the rumor, saying: “So to simply say it on camera, absolutely not. I have never, at all, touched Natalia in an inappropriate way.
“I have never had any kind of sexual relations with Natalia, unequivocally, absolutely 100%, hell no.
KRISTINE’S RESPONSE
“At the same time, that’s Kristine. She will make up whatever crazy loud lie she can and if you don’t believe her, she will take it up a notch,” he said.
The U.S. Sun contacted Kristine for further comment about Michael and Natalia but did not hear back.
Michael had an emotional one-on-one meeting with Natalia to try and get closure, blaming Kristine for most of the scandal surrounding her re-aging process.
Kristine refused to take part in the documentary while Natalia and Michael branded her a “monster” and claimed she was physically and emotionally abusive.
Following the series premiere, Kristine took to Facebook to refute the claims in a statement after being accused of beating Natalia with a belt and pepper-spraying her.
Kristine wrote: “Natalia was a very much loved and cared for member of my family. She was not abused by anyone in my family. Let’s get straight to these allegations.”
She added: “Nobody ever took a belt to Natalia and the allegations that she was ‘beaten’ are just plain false.
“Any discipline of Natalia was very minimal and was not out of the bounds of normal parenting.”
All six episodes of the documentary series, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks, are now streaming on Max.
