A PREGNANT teen went missing hours before she was set to have a baby and hasn’t been heard from since, her mother says.
Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, was scheduled to be induced on December 23, but she never showed up at the hospital.
A Clear Alert for Soto was issued by the Texas Department of Transportation on Christmas Day at 4pm.
The alert stated that Soto may be in “imminent danger or [her] disappearance is involuntary.”
Soto has not been seen since December 22.
She was last seen in the 600 block of 6000 Block of Grissom Road in Leon Valley, located about 15 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio.
Soto is five-foot-one and 115 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
Police believe she may be traveling in a 2013 gray Kia Optima with a temporary Texas license plate 4289D57.
‘IT BREAKS MY HEART’
Soto’s mother, Gloria Cordova, said her daughter couldn’t wait to become a mother.
“Savanah was so, so happy because she was going to be a mommy. It breaks my heart,” Cordova told local CBS affiliate KENS.
Cordova said the baby’s nursery was all set up and she was planning to be in the delivery room with Soto.
But when Soto didn’t show up to the hospital, Cordova grew concerned.
And on Saturday when she lost contact with her daughter, Cordova drove to Soto’s apartment.
“I went by there and knocked and knocked and knocked and she wasn’t answering,” Cordova said.
Soto wasn’t home and her cell phone was believed to be dead.

“We got to the hospital. They said she wasn’t there,” Cordova continued.
She said something didn’t seem right, and that she couldn’t make contact with Soto’s boyfriend, either.
Cordova then filed a report with Leon Valley Police.
“We don’t even know what happened. They said it could be anything,” Cordova said.
Cordova is urging anyone with information to come forward.
“Please come home. No one’s going to judge you,” she said.
“No one is going to say nothing. I just want you to be home.”
Cordova has also taken to social media to raise awareness of her daughter’s bizarre disappearance.
Alongside a photo of a heavily pregnant Soto, her mother asked friends and followers on Facebook for help.
“If you see her please reach out to me and lmk where you seen her,” she said.
“I’m worried about her safety…prayer for my baby girl.”
Prayers flooded into the comments for the expectant mother and her baby.
