The movie icon and his pretty wife wed last year.

Dolph said in mid January that he feels he’s made a ‘good choice’ with his Nordic beauty.

The Wanted Man star – who was previously married to Anette Qviberg between 1994 and 2011 – told Fox News: ‘I really enjoy it.’

Dolph hailed Emma for being a ‘wonderful’ partner in his personal life and his professional life.

The actor revealed that they’ve recently worked on a number of projects together, and Dolph thinks they make a very good partnership.

He shared: ‘Emma is a great support. She’s very clever.

‘We’re working on a comedy. She helped me on [‘Wanted Man’] as well. She helps me with the script and in production and post-production – just giving me a second opinion.’

The loved-up couple tied the knot in Mykonos, Greece, on July 13, 2023.

They previously told PEOPLE: ‘We chose to celebrate our love by getting married at our villa in Mykonos with family and a few close friends. With both COVID and a long road of challenging medical treatments, we’ve had to push our marriage plans many times.

‘We felt it was finally the right time to celebrate love, life and happiness – in the land of the Gods.’

Dolph – who is perhaps best known for playing Ivan Drago in Rocky IV – actually teased his wedding on social media before he tied the knot.

Alongside a photo of the couple enjoying the summer sunshine, he wrote on Instagram: ‘Tomorrow is the day. Mykonos [heart emoji].’

Dolph and Emma first announced their engagement in June 2020.

The Hollywood star took to Instagram at the time to share a photo of Emma and her sparkling engagement ring.

Dolph – who was born in Spanga, Sweden – captioned the post: ‘Something very special happened here in Sweden.’

Meanwhile, Lundgren thinks that The Expendables 4 failed for a multitude of reasons.

The actor reprised his role as Gunner Jensen in the action film that disappointed both critics and audiences and thinks that a mediocre script as well as a lack of creative involvement from Sylvester Stallone contributed to the poor response to the picture.

Dolph told Screen Rant: ‘That project had issues from the beginning, and it usually starts with the script, it really didn’t have a good script.

‘I’m not playing the lead, so it’s hard for me to weigh in on some of the issues, but I know Stallone wasn’t involved, like he usually is.

‘He just played a character in it, and when he’s in charge, the quality is going to be pretty good, it doesn’t drop below a certain level.

‘But he wasn’t involved, so I think the problem was with the script, and then the director was replaced, like, a month before shooting.’

Dolph also felt it was unwise to release the movie during the SAG-AFTRA strike last year as it meant members of the heavyweight ensemble cast – including Jason Statham, 50 Cent and Megan Fox – were prevented from doing any promotional work for the project.

The star said: ‘Also, the picture opened during the strike, which wasn’t very clever, so they couldn’t do any publicity.

‘If you would have had a big star-studded premiere with Megan and 50 and Stallone and Statham, and the rest of them, myself, Andy Garcia, there would have been more eyeballs on it. And I’m sure it would have done better, but it’s too bad. I was disappointed.’

Dolph is in good health these days after revealing last year a cancer battle.

Lundgren revealed he was first diagnosed with lung cancer in 2015 and speculated whether his past use of steroids for bodybuilding is to blame.

Discussing his diagnosis with Dr Besinger, the actor says he went into remission but the cancer returned in 2020, resulting in doctors giving him a sobering 2-3 year life expectancy.

The star went for a second opinion and the treatment he received has resulted in the tumors shrinking.

He said in May: ‘It’s the day after my surgery, they took out one tumor, then they took out another two they found and another three small ones. Hopefully it’s cleaned out, if it dies, it dies,’ he added, referring to his memorable quote in the 1985 film Rocky IV, after his character Drago kills Apollo Creed during their exhibition match.

Speaking to Bensinger, he recalled how he discovered he had cancer again in 2020. Lundgren says: ‘In 2020, I was back in Sweden and I had some kind of acid reflux, I didn’t know what it was so I did an MRI. They found that there were a few more tumors around that area.’

Following a change in treatment, Lundgren says with within three months his tumors had been shrinking between twenty and thirty per cent. Lundgren continued: ‘You just appreciate being lucky enough to be alive, and you appreciate every moment there is.’
