Yet the controversial couple could still emerge victorious on auction day, as speculation grows about a possible high-profile buyer from the Gold Coast’s flashy multimillionaire scene.
Daily Mail understands that behind-the-scenes chatter has focused on Wyatt and Chantel’s links to influential business figures on the Glitter Strip, with tobacco entrepreneur Travers ‘The Candyman’ Beynon among the names being discussed.
Beynon is one of the Gold Coast’s best-known wealthy personalities, recognised for his opulent Candy Shop Mansion, lavish events and a lifestyle that frequently draws headlines.
There is no indication that Beynon intends to buy Wyatt and Chantel’s Mount Eliza home, has registered as a bidder or has made any kind of arrangement with the pair. However, his name has reportedly surfaced amid talk of who might make an appearance when the property goes under the hammer.
