This was evident in the first half of 2025 when Tesla dealerships and car owners became targets for radical left-wing activists. These individuals took extreme measures, such as attempting to run Tesla drivers off the road or attacking showrooms with incendiary devices. The reason? Elon Musk’s visible support of President Trump made him a focal point for their ire.
Remarkably, when leading Democrats in Congress were pressed to denounce these violent acts, they hesitated. For instance, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was questioned about these incidents and whether he would condemn them. His reply skirted the issue, as he remarked, “I can’t talk about Tesla, but Elon Musk is a disaster for America, and America knows it,” thereby adding fuel to the anti-Musk sentiment.
Notably, when prominent Democrats in Congress were asked to unequivocally condemn such actions, they refused. Sen.
