President Donald Trump has asserted that Israel will conduct “NO MORE ATTACKS” following reports of Israeli strikes on Iran’s South Pars Gas Field.

On Truth Social, Trump clarified that the United States was unaware of this specific attack. He also emphasized that Qatar had no involvement whatsoever. Trump mentioned that Iran wrongly assumed Qatar’s involvement, which led to an unjustified strike on part of Qatar’s LNG gas facility.

“In response to tensions in the Middle East, Israel lashed out at the South Pars Gas Field in Iran,” Trump remarked. “Only a small portion of the vast facility was targeted. The United States was not informed of this planned assault, and Qatar was neither involved nor aware of it,” he continued.

Trump further elaborated that Iran’s lack of awareness regarding the situation led to their unfair attack on Qatar’s facility. He emphasized that Israel will not engage in further attacks on the South Pars Field unless Iran mistakenly targets Qatar. In such a scenario, Trump warned, the U.S., with or without Israel’s cooperation, would retaliate with unprecedented force against Iran’s gas field.

A “source” reportedly confirmed to the Jerusalem Post that Israel had launched airstrikes on “facilities linked to Iran’s gas and oil industry.” The South Pars Gas Field is described as “the world’s largest natural gas reserve”:

Despite Trump’s claim of U.S. ignorance regarding the assault, an unnamed Israeli official indicated to the media that the attack had been coordinated with the United States.

The South Pars gas field is the world’s largest natural gas reserve and is jointly operated by Iran and Qatar.

While Trump said the U.S. knew nothing about the attack, “an Israeli official” claimed to the outlet that “the attack was coordinated” with the U.S.

In response to the attack, Alireza Tangsiri, the Navy chief for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), warned that “oil facilities associated with America are now on par with American bases and will come under fire with full force.”
