On Tuesday’s episode of “The Alex Marlow Show,” the Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart, Alex Marlow, criticized Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for her decision to step down, labeling it as “profoundly selfish.”
Marlow expressed his views, stating, “Marjorie Taylor Greene has declared her departure from Congress. This move only reinforces some of the insights I’ve shared on this program for a while now, explaining why I don’t frequently discuss her, despite her being a favorite among some listeners. Greene is undoubtedly a maverick, someone who embodies American individualism, which I appreciate. However, her resignation seems timed in an undeniably self-serving manner, ensuring she completes five years in Congress to secure her full pension. Her decision comes at a time when conservative and Republican votes are precariously few, and her exit leaves us with one less vote to advance the president’s agenda. It’s a decision rooted in pure self-interest.”
