Bishop Mar Mari Attacked at the Pulpit

Orthodox Christian Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, who’s spoken out prominently against Israel’s slaughter of civilians and the cultural Marxism subverting Christianity, was stabbed when a man stormed the pulpit during a Monday night service in Sydney, Australia. A Priest called Father Isaac, as well as multiple congregants, were also reportedly injured. All of them, including Bishop Mar Mari, are receiving medical treatment and are expected to recover. The attack marks the second mass knifing to strike Sydney in a period of just three days.

A knife-wielding attacker stormed the pulpit of Sydney, Australia’s Christ The Good Shepherd Church and appeared to stab Bishop Mar Mari in the face, before unleashing a fury of additional stabs and slashes, leaving multiple other people injured as congregants quickly fought to subdue him. Because the Monday night service was being live streamed, video footage of the attack became available online immediately and has quickly gone viral, showing yet another instance of the anti-Christian terrorism that’s so common around the world but is largely ignored.

While the attacker has yet to be identified by name, according to several reports, he’s 15 years old.

A photo of him, smiling as he’s subdued by congregants and reportedly relieved of several fingers with his own blade, has been published online by Aussie Cossack, a leading Australian free speech journalist.

In the wake of the attack, there’s been a massive outpouring of support from Christians around the world, including locally, where an angry crowd of men estimated to be 5,000 strong waited outside the Church-turned-crime scene chanting “Bring him out” as Sydney police secured the scene and suspect inside.

As he recovers, the corporate media the world over has taken to the internet to slam Bishop Mar Mari for his traditionalist stances and skepticism of the anti-Christian global power structure, with the Telegraph deriding him as “a fire and brimstone preacher known for his anti-LGBTQ views and skepticism over Covid vaccines.”

In the Sydney Morning Herald, Bishop Mar Mari was also described as an “anti-LGBTQ” preacher whose congregation is made up of “radical Christians.”
