Henry Kissinger was a politician and American diplomat born on May 27, 1923, in Fürth, Germany.
After fleeing Germany with his family, the Kissingers relocated to New York City in 1938.

Kissinger went on to study accounting at City College of New York before enlisting in the United States Army in 1943.
After serving in the Army Kissinger went on to finish his degree studying a bachelor’s degree in political science at Harvard University.
Following his graduation, Kissinger went on to work as the US National Security Advisor in 1969.
He was later appointed to be the US Secretary of State during both Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford’s presidencies from 1973 until 1977.
