Lane Kiffin’s daughter, Landry, risked further anger from Ole Miss supporters on Saturday night by wearing a bright yellow dress to show her support for her father’s LSU team during their grudge match.
Landry, 21, remains an Ole Miss student despite her father’s widely publicized $90 million move to LSU last November. She is now completing her degree remotely from Baton Rouge.
She has also been dating LSU star linebacker Whit Weeks since last year and made little effort to conceal her allegiance during Saturday night’s game in Oxford, Mississippi.
Landry shared several TikTok videos documenting her preparations for the game, ultimately choosing a bright yellow Prada dress for the occasion.
Before kickoff, she posed for a selfie on the field while watching warmups and captioned the post “LFG” before heading to her suite to watch the game.
Her appearance came after banners allegedly surfaced around the Oxford campus this week linking Landry in sexual terms to a former Rebels player.

Before the rivalry game, Landry appealed to Rebels fans to stop displaying sexually inappropriate banners targeting her and her family.
“I normally don’t respond to any hateful posts around game days, but this one actually hurts,” said Landry, who has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, in a TikTok video. “I’m still a student at Ole Miss. I’ve loved my time here, and I love Ole Miss, so that’s what makes all of this even more upsetting.”
She added: “I opened my phone this morning to pictures of banners on houses around Oxford posted on different accounts, saying really inappropriate things about me and somebody I genuinely have never met in my life. That makes it even more frustrating, to say the least.”
“I think turning a girl into the punchline of a sexual joke because you’re upset at somebody she’s related to should not be okay,” Landry continued. “I understand emotions are high this week and people are upset, but I’m my own person.”
She said she could not understand how anyone could feel good about displaying vulgar messages about a young woman on a large banner outside a home. “I just hope people realize that there’s an actual person behind the jokes that they make,” she said.
LSU’s team bus reached the stadium without incident after Ole Miss took the unusual measure of installing tall chain-link fences covered in blue material to block the view.
Some fans nevertheless waited until the tops of LSU’s buses came into sight before shouting insults, including obscenities, as the team made the short walk to the visitors’ locker room.
When Kiffin stepped onto the field, red-and-blue-clad Ole Miss fans booed him, with many holding their phones aloft to record the moment.
Several LSU dignitaries watched from the sideline during warmups, including Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry and Attorney General Liz Murrill.
Kiffin’s agent, Jimmy Sexton, was speaking with LSU president Wade Rousse when a practice punt took an unusual bounce and struck Rousse on the side of the head.

Just in case there were any lingering doubts where Kiffin now stands with Ole Miss fans, the Rebel faithful made their feelings crystal clear earlier on Saturday during ESPN’s College GameDay.
Speaking via satellite from the team’s hotel in Oxford, Kiffin’s face was projected onto a large screen overlooking the throngs of students and Rebels fans.
Almost immediately, chants of ‘a**hole’ began to ring out from the group.
‘I really appreciate you guys gaslighting them with this,’ Kiffin told the ESPN panel.
And as if that weren’t enough, fans naturally brought some derisive signs to the College GameDay broadcast.
‘I’m 10 and I make better decisions than Lane,’ read a sign held by one young Ole Miss fan.
One young woman brought a sign humorously suggesting she and Kiffin previously dated: ‘Why is my ex here?’
Kiffin did try to defuse the tension at a few moments, once telling the panel: ‘It’s not about me. Both teams have great players, great coaches, [I] have a lot of respect for their program.’
Meanwhile, chants of ‘a**hole’ continued to rage in the background.
It was the latest in a growing buildup for the first top-10 matchup between No. 7 LSU and eighth-ranked Ole Miss since 1962.
It started when Kiffin left the Rebels to take the LSU job and a $91 million contract just as the team he had coached for six years was days away from its first appearance in the College Football Playoff.
Kiffin wanted to stay through the playoff but Ole Miss moved on to coach Pete Golding and advanced to the CFP semifinals. LSU finished 7-6, capped by a loss in the Texas Bowl.
The off-field storylines haven’t stopped since. Kiffin’s comments about whether Black players could be recruited to Ole Miss, lawsuits alleging Ole Miss transfers owe big money for reneging on their NIL deals and LSU’s now-abandoned defiance of rules against rostering former pro players have only brightened the spotlight for this one.
