The Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, broke numerous records at the box office. It surpassed the $1 billion mark at the box office, becoming the second film of 2023 to achieve that feat. The film did not sit well with men as they felt it was too feminized. However, Joe Rogan did not feel that way and came to the film’s defense on his podcast.

Joe Rogan said, “Lot of people are upset about the Barbie movie that left me perplexed. But a lot of it is, you know, about the patriarchy. It is a comedy about dolls. People are upset that it is a progressive metaphor for life. They are pushing progressive politics in this. It is a doll movie, a fun movie about dolls that come to life and try to interact with the real world. It was a fun silly movie. I enjoyed but I didn’t understand why people are getting upset.”

Joe Rogan felt that the film is not attacking all men. They attacked a particular portion of men associated with patriarchy. Rogan stated that a person has to be appropriately rated per his individuality rather than as a collective. The UFC commentator did not understand why people got outraged by the film.

Despite what Rogan felt, conservative commentators like Ben Shapiro outrightly criticized the film. Popular YouTuber Critical Drinker, who comments about films, also did not like the film for its propaganda. Regardless of what Rogan feels, others will make a credible argument against the film for its portrayal of certain characters.

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan hosted Post Malone on the JRE recently. Rogan addressed the question of living anywhere else other than the United States on the podcast. This was an interesting question asked by Malone that got Rogan thinking so deeply.

Rogan said, “I would have said Canada up until recently. That Canada’s f*cking falling apart. All the shit that they did during COVID was just the total wrong direction. They froze people’s bank accounts that donated money to the convoy … These people that were protesting COVID vaccine mandates and the lockdowns, and they f*cking went after the people that donated, which is crazy.”

In recent years, Rogan has centered his thoughts on an America-first agenda. He has criticized President Joe Biden for his inefficiency and praised Republicans like Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. He has also suggested that his viewers vote Republican for the betterment of the US.
