Adam Barnard, a Romanz singer died from Kidney disease. Almitra Barnard, his wife revealed on Friday morning that her husband had died after being in a coma for six days.

“Adam went for his heavenly home early this morning, where he will be free of suffering and able to sing and run again.” Thank you to everyone who has and continues to pray for us.

“The prayers of the world surround us, and that’s exactly what we need right now,” she added in a statement.

A regular update was provided by his spouse Almitra on Barnard’s health on his Facebook page. The musician, who has had renal problems since infancy, was scheduled to have a kidney transplant in 2017.

But his mother, who wished to donate the kidney, died in a vehicle accident before the donation.

Recently on April 30, the Barnard family found a potential donor. However, Barnard was too weak to proceed with the surgery. Almitra wrote, ”
The difficulty is that Adam is just too frail for a transplant.”

“In order to get a kidney, the patient must be in good condition and have renal failure. She further mentions a lady who wanted to donate and has been waiting for a long time to get tested. But they had to wait the entire time due to all of the hospitalizations.

However, she encourages the donor to save the life of others through their initiatives.

Barnard’s wife stated in her statement that he has had multiple setbacks since August 2021 and that he has “shown every time that he has the willpower of Jesus.”

She claimed he awoke in his worst shape in February 2022, but he persisted.

“We were startled and stood there watching, knowing that he would pull through this and that he would attempt for a transplant again in a few months.” But, according to Almitra, this time was different.

“He is free of pain and agony for the first time in a long time.” That is what we hope for him,” she stated.

She also stated that everything that occurs is God’s will and that Barnard’s will was to enjoy life to the utmost. Unfortunately, he could not survive this time and died after six days of a long coma in hospital.
