NFL bettor places $25K on this 100-1 long shot to win Super Bowl

One DraftKings Sportsbook bettor has a lot of faith in the Raiders this season.

A sports gambler put $25,000 down on Las Vegas to defy the odds and win the 2026 Super Bowl in one of the boldest wagers yet on next season.

At 100-to-1 odds, the bet would win them $2.5 million if the Raiders can take home the Lombardi Trophy next February.

The bettor is going to need a lot of luck if he or she wants their winnings.

Las Vegas is currently projected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL next season.

Their 6.5 win total at BetMGM Sportsbook is tied with the Panthers for the sixth-fewest in the league.

Just making the playoffs will be an uphill battle as they sit as +330 long shot to make the postseason, which are the sixth-worst odds in football.

They would be the largest preseason long shot to win the Super Bowl since the 1999 Rams, who won with 150-to-1 odds before the season began, as reported by Sports Odds History.

The Raiders went 4-13 last year, their third straight losing season.

The front office cleaned house after the year, hiring Pete Carroll as the team’s head coach.

Las Vegas traded for quarterback Geno Smith, who spent two seasons under Carroll in Seattle.

The franchise also added some firepower to their young offense, selecting running back Ashton Jeanty with the sixth overall pick in April’s draft.
