Fans of the royal family are buzzing with admiration over Princess Lilibet’s striking red hair, which her mother, Meghan Markle, proudly showcased in a Thanksgiving-themed video.

The young princess, who is four years old, appears to be following in the footsteps of her father, Prince Harry, who is well-known for his own vibrant red locks.

In a heartwarming gesture, Harry and Meghan included both of their children—Lilibet and six-year-old Prince Archie—in a pre-Thanksgiving visit to a community kitchen in Los Angeles.

Meghan released a video compilation from their day at Our Big Kitchen. As part of their Archewell Foundation initiative, the family participated in baking cookies, chopping vegetables, and preparing meals for those facing food insecurity in the Los Angeles area.

In the video, Lilibet is seen by her mother’s side, dressed in a cheerful red tartan dress, adding to the festive spirit in the kitchen.

Her face was kept out of the photos, which showed her long red hair – the very same shade as her father’s – braided beneath a hat.

‘How I love Lili’s hair colour!’ one person wrote on X.

‘Lilibet red hair is so beautiful,’ someone else said.

Meghan and Harry have shared rare glimpses of their children over the years – both of whom have red hair.

Archie and Lilibet recently featured in a video posted to Meghan’s Instagram grid on October 26 from a family weekend carving pumpkins.

Earlier that month, Meghan marked International Day of the Girl on October 11 with a heartwarming photo of her and daughter holding hands, as well as a short clip of Lilibet running on the lawn outside.

‘To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ’em girl,’ the Duchess of Sussex penned on Instagram.

Lilibet turned four in June. which Meghan marked on social media with a recent photo Harry and their daughter holding hands and another of him holding Lilibet as a newborn.

‘The sweetest bond to watch unfold,’ Meghan wrote. ‘Daddy’s little girl and favourite adventurer.’

In another post for Lilibet’s birthday, Meghan also shared a rare black and white photo of her hugging her daughter, showing Lilibet’s face.

‘Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it,’ the royal gushed in the birthday tribute posted to her Instagram.

Meghan recently opened up about balancing work and her family life with Prince Harry and their two kids in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar on November 19.

‘My office is right by the kitchen, and I love that I can work from home,” she told the outlet, adding that Lilibet ‘comes and sits on my lap when I’m in the middle of the meeting, whether it’s about P and L for my brand or it’s about something creative’.

‘I hope they see the value of being brave,’ she said of what she hopes her kids take away from seeing her working.

At another point of the interview she said of motherhood: ‘I’m a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day.

‘But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.’ I can give myself the same grace as a founder. There’s no such thing as perfect. I, too, get to make mistakes.”
