Authorities asked the public Thursday for help locating a 14-year-old boy who disappeared in the city of Maywood on New Year’s Day.

Anthony George Martinez was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on the 5000 block of Pine Avenue and has been described by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as a “critical missing” juvenile in a special bulletin.

Anthony has no history of running away and his family is concerned for his well-being, the Sheriff’s Department stated.
