At the 2026 Tony Awards, Aubrey Plaza proudly showcased her pregnancy while standing by her partner, Chris Abbott.
The expectant star attended the ceremony on Sunday to cheer on Abbott, who earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play, thanks to his role as Biff Loman in the Broadway revival of “Death of a Salesman.”
On the red carpet, Plaza and Abbott embraced warmly for the cameras. Plaza, radiant in a chic black-and-white pinstripe dress, lovingly cradled her baby bump, whereas Abbott exuded elegance in a timeless black suit complemented by a slim tie.
The 41-year-old “Parks and Recreation” star styled her brunette locks down and adorned her look with earrings and a sparkling diamond ring on her left index finger.
Plaza announced her pregnancy back in April on the “SmartLess” podcast, confirming the news that she and Abbott, 40, are anticipating their first child together, as initially reported by People.
“Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” she told hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett.
When asked if she was “excited” about becoming a first-time mom, Plaza replied, “I am. Yeah. I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know?”
“It just seems so interesting, that whole thing,” she added.
Plaza and Abbott were first rumored to be together after a fan claimed they saw the pair getting cozy at a berry farm outside New York City in July 2025.
The couple has worked together multiple times, including in the 2020 movie “Black Bear” and in the 2023 to 2024 off-Broadway revival of “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.”
Though they’ve been private about their romance, Abbott did gush about the “very exciting” pregnancy news during his appearance on the “Today” show last month.
The “Girls” alum also joked that there was “too much” going on in his life at the moment.
