Kylie Jenner turned heads at the Golden Globes on Sunday by donning a vintage Versace dress.

With its plunging neckline and thigh-high split, the designer frock certainly left little to the imagination, but Kylie managed to make it even more revealing due to an awkward wardrobe malfunction.

While snapping selfies with A-listers like Elle Fanning and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, the 27-year-old busted the dress wide open at the seams.

Kylie’s famous curves seemed to be too much for the antique garment to handle, leaving a gaping hole below her hip that was difficult to conceal.

The Kardashians star seemed unaware of the fashion emergency and was seen confidently posing alongside her beau and his movie star pals with the ripped fabric on full display.

A pink version of the daring gown was first worn 25 years ago by English actress Elizabeth Hurley.

The Austin Powers bombshell rocked the frock at the 18th Annual CFDA Awards on June 2, 1999.

While Kylie didn’t wear Elizabeth’s exact dress, she was able to source a silver version of the Versace piece from The Real List, according to W magazine.

The Real List is a vintage second-hand luxury dealer that specializes in classic pieces representing 90s and early 2000s fashion. 

In 2022, Kim Kardashian was wrongfully accused of ‘damaging’ the iconic nude dress that Marilyn Monroe wore to sing Happy Birthday to then-President John F. Kennedy in 1962 when she modeled it at the Met Gala. 

Kardashian was loaned the gown by officials at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum, where the 60-year-old dress has been stored in a temperature-controlled environment since it was bought for a record-breaking $5 million in 2016.

‘Great care was taken to preserve this piece of pop culture history,’ Ripley’s said in May.

‘With input from garment conservationists, appraisers, and archivists, the garment’s condition was top priority. Believe it or not, no alterations were to be made to the dress and Kim even changed into a replica after the red carpet!⁠’

Jenner, who shares two children with rapper ex Travis Scott, has only been pictured with Chalamet at the most high-profile bashes since going public with their romance.

The usually private Hollywood couple took the opportunity to show off their love as they locked lips in the audience at the prestigious awards event.

Jenner, 27, skipped the red carpet but was sat next to Chalamet, 29, inside the bash at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, proving their romance is continuing to flourish.
