Biggs Army Airfield sends back 80 immigrants from Guatemala

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) The Department of Defense along with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported 80 Guatemalan migrants on Friday morning, Jan. 24, from Biggs Army Airfield, United States Representative for the 23rd District of Texas Tony Gonzales said in a post on X.

Gonzales said the 23rd District of Texas has been “ground zero for the border crisis and will be ground zero for DEPORTATION operations.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also shared on X on Friday morning that deportation fights have begun and President Trump is “sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences.”
