Blake Lively's groveling texts, emails that Taylor Swift is ghosting

It seems Taylor can’t come to the phone right now…

The fallout comes following the shock announcement that Blake is furious with Taylor over her renewed friendship with 28-year-old Katie Holmes.

‘Even though Taylor has totally cut ties with her, Blake hasn’t with Taylor,’ a source told the Daily Mail.

‘She’s been reaching out to her with texts, voicemails and even emails begging to mend what they once had. Blake isn’t giving up on trying to get her friendship with Taylor back on track.

‘Taylor hasn’t responded to any of Blake’s pleas. She’s ignored all her grovelling excuses. The missives explain there must be some misunderstanding on Taylor’s part and that she’d never do anything to harm their ten years of closeness and personal secrets.’

This comes after Swift, 35, has reportedly iced out her pal of ten years, due to feeling ‘betrayed’ and ‘exploited’ by Lively, 37.

Their friendship was fractured after Swift, 35, became unwillingly engulfed in Lively’s legal spat with her It Ends with Us costar Justin Baldoni, 41

Lively stands accused of unwantedly dragging Swift – godmother to her three daughters – into the ongoing legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, 41.

In January, Swift was named in various legal documents – with potential humiliations including screenshots of alleged texts from Lively in which she referred to herself as ‘Khaleesi’ (a character from TV series Game of Thrones) and to Swift as one of her ‘dragons’.

Then, last month, Swift was dramatically supoenaed as a witness by Baldoni’s lawyers.

However, last month, the subpoena was dramatically withdrawn father Scott providing documented evidence to Baldoni’s attorneys detailing how Lively’s counsel had allegedly tried to coerce Swift into making a statement in support of the actress or face having their private exchanges made public. Lively’s lawyer denied this, and the judge struck the accusations from the record.

The bitter battle unravelled when Lively, 37, accused Baldoni, 41, of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic work environment in a shock lawsuit filed on New Years Eve 2024.

He later retaliated with an explosive $400 million countersuit against the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, among others, accusing them of attempting to tarnish his reputation and claiming she used her bond with ‘mega celebrity friend’ Swift to take control of the film, which he also directed. All parties have strenuously denied the allegations against them.

Much to Swift’s chagrin, his filing contained screenshots of texts messages, including one now famous exchange in which Lively appears to refer to herself as Game of Thrones character Khaleesi, and to Swift as one of her ‘dragons’.

He also claims that Swift, 35, was present at a meeting he had been summoned to by Lively at her New York penthouse to discuss script changes, with Swift and Reynolds allegedly lavishing praise on her edits.

Sources close to Swift insist the singer had no knowledge of the meeting and simply turned up to find it still underway.

When the film was released in August, Lively’s somewhat tone-deaf interviews and questionable marketing efforts – namely plugging her Betty Booze brand and telling fans to ‘grab your florals’ – saw her widely criticized for seemingly failing to focus on the film’s sensitive domestic violence plot.

As a loyal friend, Swift offered her support, with Lively and Reynolds pictured at her $17 million Rhode Island mansion. In October, the Hollywood couple flew to New Orleans to watch Swift on her Eras Tour. That same month they were all pictured on a night out in New York City, marking the last time they were spotted together.

Swift’s silence in the interim months has been deafening, with insiders previously telling the Daily Mail her failure to publicly support Lively could prove to be the ‘smoking gun’ for Baldoni.

‘Her apparent refusal to address any accusations leveled against her, and her failure to speak out in support of her long-time friend, could be a nail in the coffin for Lively,’ the insider said.

‘If Taylor does not believe Blake,’ the insider claimed. ‘She will be the smoking gun in this case.’

After all, Swift is no stranger to speaking up for what she believes in.

In 2016, she memorably gave $250,000 to fellow popstar Kesha to help cover her legal fees during her battle against her former producer ‘Dr Luke’ – whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald and who Kesha had accused of sexual assault and psychological abuse.

Kesha and Gottwald reached a ‘resolution’ in 2023. Though he has continued to deny the claims made against him.

In 2017, Swift herself successfully sued former DJ David Mueller for battery and sexual assault. Swift had claimed that, at an event in 2013, Mueller reached under her skirt and groped her backside.

Mueller attempted to sue Swift for defamation – but the singer counter-sued, seeking a symbolic $1 in damages, and won.

Following her victory, she pledged to make financial donations to ‘multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves’.

Swift’s support would no doubt help Lively who has faced an avalanche of setbacks since first filing in December, and has seemingly lost friends including Gigi Hadid.

Lively claimed Baldoni sexually harassed her by dragging his lips down her neck and telling her ‘it smells so good’ during a dancing scene in It Ends with Us, which she said was not picked up by microphones.

But footage obtained by the Daily Mail proved that the microphones were in fact on, and that their conversation had been about the scent of Lively’s fake tan.

Then, this week, Lively requested to withdraw her claims of intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress against Baldoni after his legal team demanded to see medical proof.

But Swift has no plans to help Lively and in turn heal the growing chasm between them.

‘Taylor obviously still means so much to Blake, but Taylor’s totally done with her and as of right now, no requests will mend their bond as far as she’s concerned,’ our insider said.
