HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – This past week, the rapper known for chart-topping tracks “Panda” and “Timmy Turner” found himself under arrest in Horry County, South Carolina, as indicated by police records.
Sydney Royel Selby III, who performs under the name Desiigner, faced charges of third-degree domestic violence. He was taken into custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Monday and subsequently released on Tuesday after posting a $1,500 bond.
Law enforcement responded to a domestic disturbance on March 2 at a home located on Arbor Ridge Circle in the Conway area. According to an arrest warrant, Selby is accused of forcibly removing car keys from his child’s mother’s sweatpants and pushing her to the ground amid an argument.

The altercation reportedly resulted in minor scratches and bleeding on the woman’s arm and lower back, as detailed in the warrant.
Desiigner gained fame with his hit “Panda,” which has surpassed 800 million views on YouTube and earned a Grammy nomination in 2017. Another of his popular songs, “Timmy Turner,” has also attracted over 200 million views on the platform.
