Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper has announced the arrival of her first child, revealing that she and her husband, movie producer Matt Kaplan, have welcomed a baby boy.
Cooper, 32, married Kaplan, 42, in 2024. She announced in May that the couple were expecting their first child.
The podcast host shared the news Tuesday morning with a heartwarming photo of her newborn son lying down, although she kept most of his face outside the frame.
The baby wore a soft-looking pale grey sweater with matching trousers as he rested on his back atop a finely quilted bedsheet.
Cooper has not revealed her son’s name or exact date of birth. However, she appeared to confirm that the baby is a boy by adding a blue heart emoji to the post.
The Daily Mail has contacted Cooper’s representative for comment.

Cooper, 32, married movie producer Matt Kaplan, 42, in 2024 and announced her pregnancy in May
The Unwell founder and Kaplan, who serves as CEO of Ace Entertainment, have been together for six years.
In July, two months after confirming her pregnancy, Cooper revealed that she had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
“I’m not gonna cry on the internet because I’ve never cried on the internet, but when I tell you, I almost did,” she said in a video.
“I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. It is when the placental hormones cause insulin resistance…”
“I was told anyone can get this, no matter what your prior weight, diet or fitness level—literally anyone is susceptible to getting it.”
She added: “When I got this diagnosis, the first couple days, I was really hard on myself and it felt very isolating. As much as my family and my husband and everyone was there for me, I just felt like it’s me on an island.”
“This diagnosis was so upsetting, I think, because during pregnancy there’s already so much emotionally that you’re going through…”

“Obviously my first instinct was just like, ‘Oh my God, I want my child to be okay and I want my baby to be healthy. I’ll do whatever it takes.’”

The social media star said she was “struggling” with the diagnosis but remained determined to focus on the positive.
Cooper and Kaplan married in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in 2024 after becoming engaged the previous year.
Before his relationship with Cooper, Kaplan dated former child star Ashley Olsen, who later became a designer for The Row, from 2001 to 2004. He divorced Australian actress Claire Holt in 2017 after one year of marriage.
Meanwhile, Cooper used to rely on the cash she acquired through dates with sugar daddies she met on SeekingArrangement (rebranded as Seeking.com in 2022) to pay the rent on her New York City apartment.
The sex-positive podcaster’s expanding family came amid her year-long feud with former employee Alix Earle, whose show Hot Mess was dropped by her company The Unwell Network.
On April 13, Cooper publicly confronted her 25-year-old rival via TikTok and accused her of passive-aggressively writing shady comments and reposting videos comparing her to an ‘ambulance chaser’ who profits off of other people’s trauma.

‘It’s exaggerated. I love everyone,’ Earle responded on Today on May 12.
‘I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today, you know, we don’t have that much time here honestly, so it’s like, why ruin such a good day with something not so great?’
The Dancing with the Stars runner-up – who’s busy filming her Netflix reality show – was last pictured attending the GucciCore runway presentation in New York City’s Times Square on Saturday.
In 2024, Cooper signed an eye-popping, $125 million three-year contract with Sirius XM.
The former soccer star previously earned over $1.5 million during her three-year deal with Barstool Sports in 2018 as well as a $60 million three-year deal with Spotify in 2021.
Kaplan’s last project was executive producing Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which aired March 24 on Disney+, alongside Cooper.
