A man sustained injuries during an altercation at Disneyland last week, while the assailant remains at large, according to reports from the Anaheim Police Department.
The incident unfolded in the nation’s capital, with reports indicating that a scuffle erupted among patrons waiting for the Indiana Jones Adventure ride at Disneyland. The Anaheim Police confirmed the confrontation took place on the afternoon of December 30.
Tensions escalated when one group attempted to bypass another group in the queue, leading to a heated argument that quickly turned physical, police revealed.
The injured man received on-site first aid and opted to stay with his family to enjoy the remainder of their day at the park. Meanwhile, the individual responsible for the attack managed to flee the scene and has yet to be apprehended, authorities noted.
A man who was injured received first aid and remained in the park with his family for the rest of the day. The other person involved in the fight fled and hasn’t been found, officials said.
Detectives are following up on leads and trying to find the person who fled. A police spokesperson emphasized that this type of incident isn’t a regular occurrence at the park.
On a Reddit thread, a person who claimed to be the wife of the man who was attacked said he didn’t fight back because he didn’t want to risk his family getting removed from the park. She said her husband got stitches, “a wicked shiner” and new clothes courtesy of Disneyland employees.
